Join us for an FB IDEAs Grow Community session exploring how placemaking can shape thriving, people-first precincts.
This engaging networking event brings together three leading voices in urban transformation: REDO × Atelier × FB IDEAs — each offering practical insights into how we can use spaces in the meantime to grow cities that are inclusive, activated, and made for community.
Andrew Cribb – Founder of 3Space and REDO - will share his journey over the last 15 years unlocking underused commercial properties across the UK. He will explain why he thinks making commercial property affordable and accessible is the most important city shaping tool there is. He’ll highlight how REDO is turning vacant buildings into vibrant precincts that serve real community needs.
James Hewison – Founder and Creative Director of Atelier + friends- will explore the intersection of placemaking and public art. From its roots as an interdisciplinary residency, Atelier + friends is evolving into public health spaces; curated creative interventions providing prompts for contemplation and discussion, idylls of wellbeing through collaboration, and creative practices.
Together with FB IDEAs, Andrew and James will consider how the “Access All Areas” model might offer fresh possibilities for Fishermans Bend.
